General info

Short description

The main purpose of this application is to update and modify your personal Blog or wiki from a native interface (i hate web interfaces ;)) ).

Long description

This is a Java application to update a personal Blog with a clean and native interface. It will allows you to edit a post, add a post and to delete posts.

It will support blogger api (b2evolution, blogger.com, ...) (this will be out on the first release).

Technical overview

The techmology used by this development are primary:

  • SWT
  • XML
  • Preferences


RoadMap

The actually objective is to make the application USABLE.

Version 0.4

  • Preview of the POST being edited on a browser component of SWT or a JEditPane of swing.
  • Completely migrate the application from SWT to Swing using a cool Look & Feel.

Version 0.3 (current)

  • Icon14.gif FTP to allow upload of media (images, videos, and so)
  • Icon14.gif Preferences updated to allow FTP values.
  • Icon14.gif Interface improved
  • Correct bugs
  • Make the application Webstartable again.

With this version i am trying to make the application useful, and a user can insert a post on a blog with an image, and the correct links between them.

Version 0.2

  • Icon14.gif Implement options so a user can save their blog data.
  • Icon14.gif Make the application startable by Java WebStart.
  • Icon14.gif Make the application able to add a news to the blog.

With this version i am trying to make the application minimally useful.
